Emiliano Rodriguez & Fabrizio Puglisi
Stile Libero
Emiliano Rodriguez (saxophones)
Fabrizio Puglisi (piano)
In this project the musicians have the
opportunity to merge their heterogeneous experiences. Jazz improvisation is the common ground that links the members of the duo,
through pathways that go from afro-american jazz, Latin American musical
culture to ethnic music from the Mediterranean area.
Jazz, Chamber music, popular music, blend to create a new musical view,
characterized by a remarkable interplay between the musicians and a continuous
change between composition and improvisation. All
this makes each concert a unique event every time.
During theit concerts the musicians
present original compositions and new arrangements of music by W. Shorter, C.
Mingus, E. Gismonti, E. Pascoal, T. Monk, etc.
