The band’s acustic peculiarity and the two musicians’ eterogeneous backgrounds origin this musical project. The music of the Duo is a mixture of many styles, that goes from afro-american jazz and latin-american culture to mediterranean ethnical sonorities. The compositions are characterized by a continuous exchange between written sections and improvisations with a remarkable interplay in between. In 2007 Rodriguez and De Bonis released the CD “D’acqua e di vento”, edited by Wide Sound. Both compositions and arrangements are original.

Emiliano Rodriguezhas collaborated with prestigious orchestras as “La Scala” Theatre, RAI Symphony Orch. - Torino, Roma Opera Theatre, etc) and players as P. Fresu, E. Rava, G.Trovesi, E. Fioravanti, Dado Moroni, S.Bollani, P. Favre, H. Bullock, etc. He played in Europe, Africa and Middle East.
Stefano de Bonis has played with Carla Bley, Steve Swallow, Steve Coleman, Ernst Reiseger, Butch Morris, Gianluigi Trovesi, Lester Bowie, Marilyn Mazur, Giancarlo Schiaffini, Mathias Shubert, Tino Tracanna , Bruno Tommaso, A. Salis, ecc, He played in some of the most important european jazz festival.
